What is a Notary Public?
A Notary Public is a public official appointed by a state government to help deter fraud. Notary publics witness the signing of important documents and verify the identity of the signer(s), their willingness to sign the documents, and their awareness of the contents of the document or transaction.

What do I need to bring?
IDENTIFICATION: You will need to bring a current, government issued, photo ID (driver’s license, passport, non-driver’s ID).
DOCUMENT(S): Please complete the entire document and fill in all blanks, except signature. Sign ONLY in the presence of Notary.
Are there limits?
You are limited to a maximum of five (5) notarizations per day.
What languages are available?
English is required to speak with the Notary (no translators are allowed). The signer and the notary must be able to communicate in English.
However, New York Notaries may authorize a document in another language if the Notarial Certificate and document signature are in English.
