What are Automatic Renewals?
Automatic Renewals are a system in which eligible items are renewed automatically. The renewal is three days prior to the due date, but you will receive the full time for the item. When an automatic renewal is completed, you will receive an email with the new due date. You can receive up to two automatic renewals, giving you up to nine weeks with your items.
Items that may not be eligible for Automatic Renewal are:
- Items with holds
- Items with too many prior renewals
- Items from outside Nassau County
- New & Hot items
- Video Games
- Devices (i.e. Rokus, Hotspots, Playaways)
- Civil Service & Test Prep
- World Languages
